Walton Cornerstones
Walton Church has been providing education for the children of Walton for 600 years. This was the fourth School that the parishioners of Walton Church had raised funds to build. It opened in 1895 under the name of Walton National School, it was known locally as Wally Nash, and closed in 2009 when the school merged with Arnot Street CP School.
The school was then returned to the ownership of Walton Church and under the Chairmanship of Rev. Trevor Latham the old school has now become Walton Community & Enterprise Partnership. Its purpose being to promote new businesses. Offering low rents, from just £120 per month, and secure parking, Cornerstones has become an asset to the area.
