Confirmation for Children and Adults
It has been the usual practice in the Church of England for children to be confirmed when they are in year 6. Confirmation means confirming the promises made at Baptism. Confirmation classes will be held this year at St Mary's on a Monday evening from Monday 7th September for young people and Wednesdays at 7.30pm from 23rd August for adults.
Bishop John will be confirming candidates on Sunday afternoon October the 15th at St Mary's.

At St Mary's, Walton Church, if your child is 7 years old or above, and you would like them to be able to take communion without being confirmed, then please speak to the Rector.
