Welcome to St Aidan's Church
part of the Walton Team Ministry
St Aidan's is a family-friendly church, founded in 1909, and full of activities for all ages. It has been an integrated parish church in the team parish of Walton-on-the-Hill. Located in a former village it soon became part of the bustling area of urban north Liverpool.
The church has long been firmly rooted in, and connected with, the neighbourhood and you'll find our church open and welcoming. It's a church that doesn't think itself formal or fussy, and has a homely feel and a personal touch.
St Aidan's has always had a robust and active social calendar, which only goes to show that the church community isn't only there for an hour on a Sunday!
Our Church Hall, which was opened in 1932, was renowned for its dance floor. Although still used extensively by the church, is known locally as the community hall. We have been successful in obtaining funding to update the facilities
of the church hall and have recently replaced the kitchen , which has for the first time a supply of hot water, and also install disabled toilet facilities.
It is more blessed to give than receive. Acts 20:35
